Vibe is organized into 9 areas. The following is a complete description of the functionality under each:

Chat View: displays a stream of Vibe messages within a radius you select around your current location. Most recent is at the bottom. There are four options for seeing the messages, and you "side swipe" gesture to switch between them.
Photo View: is a quick way to see just the photos posted from the stream of nearby messages. Most recent is at the bottom.
Map View: displays on a world map all the Vibe messages visible to you.
List View: displays a list of messages based on wherever you've moved the map.
Search: allows you to search for the occurance of # or ## tags in messages within a distance from you. Sideswipe to see the same messages in different views.
Custom View: displays the search results of a saved # or ## term.
My Activity: allows you to see the messages you posted, the ones you participated in, the ones you've bookmarked, and any alerts you have.
Settings: allows you to define a signature and other Vibe preferences.,
Vibe News: the place for important announcements from Vibe.

Chat View: Displays a stream of vibe messages within a radius you select from your current location. Chat View consists of the following elements:
1. Slider: limits the messages to those within the distance from you that you select (minimum 32 feet and maximum worldwide).
2. Messages list: a chronological list of threads by most recent activity/reply date. Tapping on any row shows the full view of that thread:
  1. Message thread: includes the original message and all its replies if any.
    1. Header (view count, view radius, reply radius, and who can see replies)
    2. Map Thumbnail: tap on it to see a map of the original message and its replies. The purple pin indicates the exact location of the original message. The red pin indicates the approximate location of the author of the thread. The green pins indicate the approximate locations of the participants in the thread.
    3. Duration: Indicates the remaining time before the messages expires (forever messages don't expire).
    4. Message bubbles (original message and replies)
      1. User icon and sequence number
      2. Date, time, and approximate location map
    5. Reply button
3. "Post a New Vibe Where You Are" button: Use this button to post a new message at your current location.
  1. Text field: can be up to 2,000 characters
  2. Photo buton: to add a picture either by taking one or using one in your photo album.
  3. Video button: currently not working
  4. Tweet button: Option to tweet the first 140 characters of your Vibe message.
  5. # button: inserts a # at the current cursor location
  6. ## button: inserts a ## at the current cursor location
  7. Character counter: displays the total number of characters in the text field.
  8. How loud:
    1. Whisper: 160 feet, 50 meters
    2. Speak: 1,600 feet, 500 meters
    3. Shout: 3 miles, 5 KMs
    4. Whistle: 31 miles, 50 KMs
    5. Yell: 311 miles, 500 KMs
    6. Bellow: Worldwide
  9. How long
    1. 15 minutes, 1 Hour, 1 Day, 7 Days, 14 Days, 30 Days, Forever
Photo View: Displays a stream of the photos posted within the radius you select from your current location. Photo View consists of the following elements:
